Intra-Oral Camera 

Dental x-rays are invaluable in dentistry.  In the past, dentists were limited on the amount of x-ray equipment they could accommodate in their office space as well as concern about the cost.  The advancements in digital technology have changed this limitation and opened up a whole new world of resources for dentists in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients. 

Digital x-rays offer a wide range of more intricate detail, ease of use, and immediate availability of images while the cost of equipment is declining. 

Dental x-rays are a vital part of diagnosis, treatment, and medical records.  Keeping tabs on a patient’s oral health is much simpler with the ease of storing digital x-rays as opposed to the old films from earlier x-ray equipment. 

Obtaining digital images not only enhances the dental care available at Jordan Dentistry but also is healthier for the patient by requiring less exposure to radiation. 

To obtain the required views of the teeth and mouth, intraoral (inside the mouth) views are needed.  With the digital equipment at Jordan Dentistry, our intraoral camera is less bulky and invasive than previous equipment needed for views from inside the mouth, making the necessity of these views more comfortable for the patient.
